We are excited to announce our new Guide, Dayna Dawson
Dayna Dawson
Dayna spent her childhood in northern Arizona and her late teens in SW Washington state. She went on to study Geography at the University of Washington and joined the Peace Corps after graduation. As a Peace Corps Volunteer in Honduras, Dayna taught basic health education and gained great Spanish language skills. When she returned to the US, Dayna joined the Department of Energy, working on the business side of the Bonneville Power Administration, one of the largest power marketers and distributors in the PNW of the US. While there, she also earned her Master's Degree in Public Administration from Washington State University. In 2015, Dayna and her husband, Ramm, decided to forge a new path and moved to northern Thailand. From there, they got the opportunity to run a small international school in the south of China for four years. They moved back to central Thailand in 2020 and decided to make it their home until 2024 when they moved back to the PNW to be closer to family. Dayna now lives in NE Washington state with her husband and Thai cat, Sabai. She loves bouldering, gymnastics strength training, learning about different cultures, and making delicious food!
