Session 5 Week in Review - Week 23
Zoom Gatherings
Some highlights from Zoom Gatherings this week included:
Monday: Monday, Jovanni led the Studio by facilitating a learner-led launch on comparisons. Learners had a meaningful discussion about if comparison is motivating or damaging.
Tuesday: Tuesday, learners gathered for the Exhibition Dress Rehearsal. Eliza and I were so excited by the largest turn out of learners at any dress rehearsal so far this year.
Wednesday: Wednesday’s Exhibition was one of our best yet. Learners worked hard to increase the level of engagement and interaction with guests this session, and we saw some truly great examples of learners doing this!
Thursday:Thursday learners received their Exhibition feedback and had time to reflect, process, and to make a plan of action for next session. They also took some time to fill out 360* Feedback for at least one other learner in the Studio who they have worked closely with this session.
Week 22 Highlights
What a way to close out Session 5! This was truly one of our strongest exhibitions yet—and the growth was unmistakable.
Our Strongest Exhibition Yet: Congratulations to all learners for leveling up their presentation game. We saw more engaging, interactive experiences for guests, stronger storytelling, and greater confidence across the board. The growth from earlier sessions was clear and powerful.
Year-End Milestone: Huge shoutout to Nebiha for completing all of her Level 10 Quest, Story Arts, and Civ work for the school year! That kind of consistency and follow-through is something to celebrate.
Passion-Driven Learning: Shoutout to Carrington and Sam for fully embracing the opportunity to customize badges around their interests and passions. That’s what self-directed learning is all about—owning your path and making it meaningful.
Finishing Strong: Kudos to the entire studio for closing Session 5 with focus, creativity, and commitment. The effort is showing.
This session was marked by growth, ownership, and rising standards. We are so proud of how learners stretched themselves and each other.
