Session 3 Week in Review - Week 14
Zoom Gatherings
Monday’s Community Builder launch was all about reflecting as a group and celebrating group wins! The real challenge hidden in the challenge was for learners to find commonalities and articulate it! Session 3 Exhibition was a success! Guests commented on how prepared and knowledgeable learners were, and how their presentations showed incredible depth of learning; we love to hear that! Thursday was the Session 3 Wrap Up. Learners read and reflected on their Exhibition feedback, filled out the 360 Feedback form on at least one learner, and in groups discussed their session takeaways and ways they want to improve in Session 4.
Some highlights from Zoom Gatherings this week included:
A challenging group task that required learners to focus on the group’s collective wins versus individual wins
A thought-provoking exercise on reliable sources given by Tyler at the start of Exhibition
Some next level Exhibition presentations from learners!
Week 14 Highlights
What an incredible week at FSO! Exhibition brought out the best in our learners - creativity, courage, and community at its finest.
Exhibition Excellence: Huge shoutout to Amara and Brooks Weldon for their fantastic, interactive Exhibition presentations! Both showcased strong preparation, confidence, passion, and creativity that truly engaged and inspired their audience.
Creators at Work: Nearly every learner in the studio deserves a round of applause for committing to present something they personally created. That level of ownership and follow-through shows deep self-direction and pride in learning.
A Supportive Studio: The encouragement, respect, and professionalism learners showed toward each other during Exhibition were outstanding. Chat and Slack were full of kind, thoughtful comments and sincere applause. Even when nerves were high, learners modeled empathy, grace, and encouragement.
Courage Under Pressure: Special shoutout to Mati, who pushed through her nerves to share her creation during Exhibition. That bravery is exactly what personal growth looks like in action.
Thankful Hearts: As we head into the holiday season, we want to wish a Happy Thanksgiving to those who celebrate. I am deeply thankful for this incredible community of young changemakers. Each of these learners brings something unique and powerful to our studio, and it’s an honor to walk alongside them as a guide.
This week reminded us that courage, kindness, and creativity truly define what it means to be part of FSO.
